1. Which version should I use? Cloud or Self-Hosted?

It depends on your need.

If your main priority is to set up forms quickly without worrying about any technical server details, then MachForm Cloud is our recommended choice.

If your top priority is to have full control over your data and the ability to fully customize your forms, then MachForm Self-Hosted is the correct decision.

2. Are fees charged monthly or just once?

If you buy the self-hosted version, you pay for the license only once. The license includes one year of support and upgrades, which you can optionally renew.

Cloud plans are subscription-based and are charged by the month.

3. Is the price for the self-hosted license a one-time payment?

Yes, you can use self-hosted MachForm for as long as you like without any additional fees. The license also includes one year of support and upgrades, which you can optionally renew.

4. Can I switch between different monthly plans?

Yes. To switch plans, just go to Billing Area and choose another plan.

5. Do you issue refunds?

We offer a 30-day money back guarantee for MachForm Self-Hosted only. We don’t offer refunds for MachForm Cloud subscription.

6. Can I switch between cloud and self-hosted?

Yes, you can switch either way at any time. If you’re switching to self-hosted, make sure your server supports PHP and MySQL database to run MachForm.

MachForm Self-Hosted FAQ

1. Is the price of the self-hosted license a one-time payment?

Yes, you can use the self-hosted MachForm for as long as you like, without any additional fees. The license also includes one year of support contract, which you can renew optionally.

2. What is support contract?

Active support contract allows you to download new software updates (minor/major version) and receive technical support within a one-year period.

3. Do I have to renew my support contract every year?

The choice to renew your support contract and to keep receiving updates and/or technical support is entirely up to you. After your one-year period has ended, you have the option to renew your contract and to keep enjoying new updates or to continue using your last updated version of the app.

Support contract costs 50% of the full license price per year.

4. What if I choose not to renew my support contract? Will my license expire?

No, your license will never expire. Your forms will still work just fine, and you can continue to use your purchased version forever.

However, you will be no longer receive new updates and technical support.

6. Can you help with the installation?

Yes, we provide free installation service to help you to install MachForm in your site.

MachForm Cloud FAQ

1. Is MachForm Cloud secure?

It’s very secure. Security is our top priority for MachForm Cloud. All your forms are secured using HTTPS and the database that holds your data is encrypted using industry standard encryption (AES-256). We’re also using TLS encryption for email connections.

2. What is your cloud infrastructure?

MachForm Cloud is hosted on Amazon’s Web Services (AWS). Amazon manages risk and undergoes a risk assessment to ensure compliance with industry standards.

3. Is MachForm Cloud compatible with any websites?

Yes. Unlike the self-hosted version, there are no specific server requirements. MachForm Cloud will work with any sites, including (but not limited to) the following: Squarespace, Wix, Weebly, GoDaddy, BlueHost, Photobiz, Zenfolio, Smugmug, Blogger, Shopify, etc.

4. Can I cancel?

Yes, you can cancel your MachForm Cloud plan at any time. There are no contracts to sign. Just cancel your account before your next billing period and you will not be billed again.

5. Can I switch between different monthly plans?

Yes, you can change your plan anytime you want. When you upgrade or downgrade, the new plan is immediately applied, and the new subscription amount will be billed at the next billing period.

6. Do you issue refunds?

MachForm Cloud service is billed in advance on a monthly basis, and is non-refundable. There will be no refunds or credits for partial months of service, or upgrade/downgrade refunds.
